New: Volume 34 of the Frontinus series

The topics covered in the articles range from thermal baths to aqueducts and from Roman times to the Middle Ages.

Most of the articles are taken from the online lecture series entitled ‘Thurst(da)y for Water History’, which takes place every second Thursday of the month (N. de Haan – K. Wallat, M. Hainzmann, G. Jansen, J. Köhler and I. Uytterhoeven).

In addition, the Frontinus Society also wants to give young people who are still in education the opportunity to publish their student research projects. There is an article by Sophie Stark on this subject.

Finally, the annual bibliography, which is otherwise only published on the Frontinus Society’s website, appears in the Frontinus series for the first time.

Contents:

Hans Mehlhorn – Gilbert Wiplinger
Einleitung

Nathalie de Haan – Kurt Wallat
Im Bau befindlich: Die Zentralthermen in Pompeji (IX 4, 5.10.15.16.18)
