International Conference and Excursion - Water at the Iberian Peninsula - 50 years of Frontinus Society
New: Young people and students can apply for a travel grant (maximum €1,000), regardless of whether they have submitted a contribution to the symposium or not (application to in**@*******us.de ).
The registration deadline has been extended to 31 October 2025.
The International Conference ‘Water at the Iberian Peninsula – 50 years of Frontinus Society’ will take place from 9 to 20 October 2026 with a follow-up excursion. We hereby cordially invite you to participate.
The conference and excursions will take us to Segovia (Spain, 9-13 October 2026) and Chaves (Portugal, 14-17 October 2026). The destinations of the post-excursion are Merida, Cordoba and Granada (17-20 October 2026).
The Frontinus Society can look back on its 50th anniversary in 2026. To mark the occasion, a festive event will be held in Segovia, at which the Frontinus Medal will also be awarded.
The invitation is also the call for papers, to which we would like to draw particular attention.
