In early 2023, our board member Patrik Klingborg published the book "Going against the flow. Wells, cisterns and water in ancient Greece", in which the contributions of the workshop of the same name held at the Swedish Institute in Athens on 28. and 29.09.2017 are published.

On the occasion of the International Congress "Bathing Culture in Budapest" (Sept. 8-15, 2022) in Budapest, Prof. Christer Bruun, PhD was awarded the Frontinus Medal on Sept. 9, 2022 in recognition of his foundational work on Roman water systems, in particular his research on hydraulic epigraphy, and to acknowledge the vast contribution of this for larger social questions in the ancient Mediterranean world.

From September 8 to 15, 2022, the international symposium of the Frontinus Society on bathing culture in Budapest took place - a complete success! 47 participants from 13 different nations experienced the lecture and excursion program.
