Based on the edition by W. Letzner and W. Merkel in the book ‘Die Wasserversorgung im antiken Rom’ (Volume 1 of the Frontinus book series ‘Geschichte der Wasserversorgung’), our member Manfred Hainzmann has created an online database, which provides access to the full vocabulary of this unique manuscript of Frontin while at the same time labelling all deviating readings compared to four other editions. Access is possible via this website.

41 participants took part in the water history excursion to the Roman Canal in the Eifel region on 12 and 13 April 2024. All those who experienced this excursion will have very fond memories of it. The report on this excursion is now available.
